We have been buying Front Porch Baking Co. baguettes from Lemon Street Market since we first moved to town and were so happy to see that they opened their Downtown Lancaster location! New world flavors with old world techniques- what's not to love? They are also proud members of the community and we are so lucky to have them in our neighborhood!

Staff & owners are friendly and welcoming! Great, community-centric environment. Sausage roll was amazing, as was the morning bun. They serve square one coffee too, which is always a plus.
Best bakery in town. Always something new to try, never been disappointed after many, many visits. The bread is amazing, and the desserts are creative, thoughtful and well balanced. Most importantly they are not overly sweet like most of the baked goods in this area. Great people, great business, will continue to support!

We pick up our CSA here, and every time, they have been so friendly and welcoming, whether we get something from the bakery or not. The baked goods are delicious. They were kind and welcoming to my kids when they came with me, and patient while they picked what they wanted. Everything we’ve tried has been delicious.
We’ve tried just about every bakery in Lancaster, and no other sourdough compares to the Valley Blonde at Front Porch. It’s our favorite for everything from cold cut sandwiches to peanut butter & jelly. We’ve also had their scones, cookies, cakes, sausage rolls, etc. and we’ve never been disappointed. I’m so happy to have them nearby on King St., walking distance from our house. They’re always so nice, and they’ve got the cutest little baby who’s usually hanging on the front of his mama like a little koala. Makes me smile every time. Thanks for bringing your talent to Lancaster City, you are appreciated!
Great new location. The food is excellent, but if you are looking for lots of coffee options, it is not going to be there. Staff is very friendly, and it is a woman/family owned business. I had the chocolate croissant with a coffee, and my wife had the quiche. seating area with basic but clean and well-decorated. I look forward to coming back.
Wow wow wow! The savory brioche bun is outstanding. I cannot recommend it enough. I would eat this every day for breakfast if I could. Cheese, a perfectly cooked egg, pillowy soft brioche bun, topped with everything bagel seasoning. I wish I had another one right now while writing this. We also tried a rhubarb shortbread that was delicious, but I keep going back to that savory bun. The staff were friendly and the inside of the shop was very cute. We will absolutely be back any time we're in the area.
